Description:
Sodium nitrate is an inorganic compound with formula NaNO3, it is a hygroscopic colorless transparent triangulation crystal. It decomposes when heated to 380℃. Highly soluble in water, liquid ammonia, soluble in methanol and ethanol, very slightly soluble in acetone, slightly soluble in glycerol. When dissolved in water, it absorbs heat, the solution becomes cold, and the aqueous solution is neutral. Used in the production of nitric acid, sodium nitrite, glass, matches, enamel or ceramic industry ingredients, fertilizer, sulfuric acid industry in the catalyst.
